Naivasha Trail Run 2017

The Naivasha Trail Run is a 10k and 21k trail run around the hills on the western edge of Lake Naivasha on Sunday 22nd January 2017. There will be no 5k run at this event.

ROUTE
The route will be fully marked with marshals and water points along the way. The route will be very different to the Tigoni Trail Run – the terrain is a lot drier and rocky, and the weather will be much warmer!
REGISTRATION
Entry fee is 3,000/= and normal registration is open until Sunday 15th January. Entry fee for late registration (i.e. starting on Monday 16th January) and on the day of the race is 5,000/=. We encourage you to register early to avoid the late registration fee! Entries are capped at 250 people. Entry includes a race number and finisher’s medal. All participants registered by Sunday 8th January will have personalised race numbers.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for men and women will be awarded a trophy.

RACE DAY INFO
The run will begin at 6:30am sharp. Race briefing will take place at the evening before at Bilashaka Lodge.
You can collect your race numbers from Bilashaka Lodge on Saturday 21st January between 3-7pm.
CAMPING
There will be a camping site available at Bilashaka Lodge on Saturday 21st January at the start/finish area which costs 800/= per person. Children 12yrs and under are 400/=. Basic toilet and shower facilities will be available. You will need to bring your own food and cooking facilities, or you can eat at one of the restaurants along the south shore of the lake, although please expect about a 20min drive to get to them 🙂 Camping fees to be paid upon arrival at the campsite.

Start line is approximately 2hr from Nairobi. Directions will be emailed closer to the time.
