Mbweha Caper

A 2 day event for all the family taking place on 19-20th March 2016. There is an option for a longer GPS navigated ride on the Sunday morning for more advanced MTB riders. For non-cycling members of the family, there is an option to walk around the conservancy and a pool at the lodge 🙂

(The youngest riders we have had in the past are 4yrs of age for the family rides.)

Saturday 19th March

– Drive down to Mbweha Camp, arrive for 11am
– Set up camp/settle in
– Lunch
– Short afternoon ride around the conservancy – with children
– Sundowners
– Dinner

Sunday 20th March

– Breakfast
– Morning ride – two options: 1 for the family, 1 for the more advanced riders (GPS route, approx. 30km)
– Bush camp lunch
– Short cycle back to the camp
– Drive back home

The family riding will be done as a group, for both social and safety reasons. We will be cycling through a park and thus there will be animals around. It is also a great time to chat to other people, cycle with your kids and just enjoy the animals and scenery! There is also a swimming pool at the lodge – a perfect place to cool down after a day in the sunshine!

For the more advanced riders for the Sunday GPS ride, you will be given the route on Saturday evening by the fireplace.
